We are all blessed in so many ways…and we so often are oblivious of all the blessings that attend this life. I consciously try to live in the immediate moment of gratitude. I try to acknowledge the ordinary simple things that are significant, yet mostly overlooked. For instance I thank my toes for the work they do, guiding my steps and keeping me in balance. I thank the traffic light for forcing me to pause in the midst of daily rushing…and take a breath as I pause.
I am blessed with good health, a flexible body, and an open mind. I think it is easier to prevent dis-ease than it is to cure an illness. In-order to be my best, I must balance the care I give to my body, with the care I tender to my mind and spirit. I love this earth, this sun, these winds and rain….
The best six doctors anywhere
And no one can deny it
Are sunshine, water, rest, and air
Exercise and diet.
These six will gladly you attend
If only you are willing
Your mind they’ll ease
Your will they’ll mend
And charge you not a shilling.

This brightend my day so can I brighten yours?
If you are willing to admit faults, you have one less fault to admit.
